Information
The Swiss Tournament is under development and testing. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
In the Swiss system, players are paired based on their score.
The top 4 in the ranking form a table, then the next 4, and so on. (*)
If the number of players is not a multiple of 4, the last tables will have 5 players.
When all the matches in a round are finished, the next round begins with new matches grouped according to the updated ranking.
You can register at any time during the tournament, if you meet the requirements.
(*) This refers to the tournament ranking, not the general Netpigs ranking.

Tie break
Tiebreak points are the total points of the opponents a player has faced up to that point, excluding direct encounters.
Plus a symbolic bonus of 0.1 for those who 'lost by default', i.e., in matches where the winner scored only 2 points, and for those who played a 5-player match.
These decimals are used to adjust the ranking at the start of the tournament, to create matches with different participants each round, as much as possible.
